"Mercy" is set to air Wednesdays at 8PM this fall. The show will premiere Sept. 23rd on NBC. Kate Mulgrew plays the mother of one of the main cast members. Here's the link to the story in TV Guide.

Kate Mulgrew is providing the voice for Flemeth, a witch who transforms into an enormous, double-tough dragon in Dragon Age: Origins, the new fantasy RPG from Bioware, makers of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, and Mass Effect 1 and 2. Thanks to a Totally Kate contributor for the following information! Looks like "Mercy", the medical drama in which Kate plays the mother of one of the main characters, may be on NBC's fall schedule instead of mid-season.

I read through a Twitter link to a TV Guide article that "Mercy" will now be on the fall schedule, because production on "Parenthood" is being delayed due to health problems for Maura Tierney.

As many of you know, Stella Adler was an integral part of Kate Mulgrew's education and evolution as an actor, and she has often said that Ms. Adler was an inspired and inspiring teacher, a treasured mentor, and a friend. Kate is a proud and active member of the board of directors of The Stella Adler Studio of Acting, - http://www.stellaadler.com/ - whose mission statement perfectly states their intention:

With that in mind, I am pleased to announce that Kate has donated several of her own Star Trek: Voyager scripts containing her notes, shooting schedules, etc. to the Stella Adler Studio of Acting to be used as a fundraising tool in support of their various projects and programs. These scripts will be up for auction on eBay in the coming weeks.

I will send out an update as soon as the first auctions go live and keep you updated as more scripts are added.

Take note the copy they saw wasn't official so the pilot that eventually gets on the air could change from what they reviewed.

Still the show sounds interesting and I suspect most of us are going to tune in, at least initially, for one reason. :-) It will be fun to see Kate on TV again!

Here is more information about Kate Mulgrew's role in 'The Best & The Brightest' - a comedy co-written and directed by Josh Shelov, based on his and his wife’s attempts to get their child into Manhattan’s private school system.

Kate's character is [THE PLAYER'S WIFE] -- a former attorney-turned-politician, wife to The Player (played by Christopher McDonald). Number two on the board at Coventry Day School (after her husband), she is a hard-hitter who knows how to drive a bargain.

The film, which stars Neil Patrick Harris and Bonnie Somerville as the happy couple, along with Amy Sedaris among others, is currently shooting in Philadelphia, which is filling in for the New York City locations.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this film and will pass along additional information as I receive it.

If you are a member of the Totally Kate yahoo groups you will have already received this link but wanted to post it to the blogs, etc. I've been away for the weekend and didn't have access to post to all the blogs, etc.

So this weekend I was in Los Angeles and attended Alec Egan's art show. Very interesting evening and Alec sold some paintings. In fact two members of the list bought my favorite one. More on that later but just wanted to give everyone a 'heads up' that Entertainment Tonight was there. So you may want to keep an eye on their website and check out the program the next few nights for any coverage. If there are any links to video please let me know and I'll be sure to update everyone!
